The Penguins on Poetry proudly present: A Blog. Dedicated to the creative writings of a small group of young adults full of notions too great to be kept inside.
1. A father struggles to stay on good terms with his neighbors once his son turns into a zombie. Tell his story or write a poem from the father, son's, or neighbor's POV.
1. Describe what's going on in detail or write a story based off the action in the painting.
2. Write from the POV of a TV remote.
As previously stated on the group's Facebook page, each piece of writing should be at least three stanzas if it is a poem and half a page if it is a story. For short writing exercises like this I guess that they shouldn't be too long either, so if it's a story try and not make it too long and I can't really see many of you writing terribly long poems so we just won't worry about those.
I'll be posting a few more things on the group tonight. I'm really excited about being able to communicate about our writing better, so you'll have to forgive me.
